Where Coastal Inspiration Meets Creative Design

Welcome to Chloe Evans Designs!

I’m Chloe, an artist, designer, and coastal daydreamer based in the beautiful coastal city of Swansea, Wales.

Originally from Hereford, I spent much of my childhood exploring the Gower and Pembrokeshire coast, influencing my move to Swansea for university to study Surface Pattern Design and I never looked back—something about the salty air, rolling waves, and endless horizons made this place feel like home.

Spending a huge amount of time by the sea growing up has shaped my life and inspired my work, and through my designs, I aim to bring the beauty and tranquillity of the coast into your home.

My Story

For as long as I can remember, the coast has been my sanctuary. From windswept walks along Swansea Bay to catching waves on my surfboard, I’ve always found a deep connection to the sea. My journey as an artist began with sketching the landscapes I loved most, turning fleeting moments of coastal magic into lasting memories.

When I’m not working (which usually means creating at my dining table—one day, I’ll have a dreamy little studio!), you’ll find me by the sea. Whether I’m surfing, swimming, walking and playing on the shore with my family, the ocean is where I feel most alive.

Living by the coast has become a big part of my life and influences many of my designs. Whether it’s the perfect wave or the calming rhythm of the tide, the sea continues to fuel my creativity.

  • I'm not actually Chloe Evans anymore, I am now Chloe Taylor (but around here, I'll always be an Evans!).

  • I’m a proud wife and mum to a little boy who keeps life wonderfully chaotic!

  • In rare moments of quiet, I love crafting, reading thrillers, and indulging in far too much cheese and chocolate!

  • I am always listening to music, with a special love for rock and 80s music, and in another life, I would have been a musician!

About Chloe Evans Designs

My love for creativity started young, but it was my time studying at Swansea College of Art (as it was known back then!) that truly shaped my path. After graduating, I worked as a product designer and photographer for a local business—an experience that taught me a lot but never quite felt like my dream. I wanted to create the kind of art I’d love to have in my own home—pieces filled with personality, colour, and a deep love for the ocean.

So, I took the leap and started Chloe Evans Designs. Now, I pour my passion into designing pieces that resonate with fellow coastal lovers and the surf community —whether it’s a hand-drawn illustration, an enamel camping mug, or custom illustrations that tell personal stories.

Each item is thoughtfully designed to bring a piece of the ocean into your everyday life.

Every piece is designed, packed, and shipped by me, making Chloe Evans Designs a true one-woman show. My dream? To one day have a dedicated studio space where I can hide away, create, and be endlessly inspired by the sea.

Protecting Our Oceans: My Commitment to Sustainability

Sustainability is at the heart of what I do. I believe in creating art that not only celebrates the beauty of the coast but also helps protect it. That’s why I use eco-conscious materials and packaging whenever possible, ensuring my work has a minimal environmental impact.

Giving back is just as important. I proudly donate £1 from every print sold to support Surfers Against Sewage and The Wildlife Trust for South and West Wales—two organisations dedicated to preserving our oceans and coastal environments. By choosing my artwork, you're not just bringing a piece of the sea into your home; you're also helping to safeguard its future. You can read more about these initiatives in my blog.
