Sunflowers at Rhossili Print
Sunflowers at Rhossili Print
Surrounded by National Trust land, the sunflower fields at Rhossili overlook Llangennith beach and the impressive Worm’s Head. With 8 acres of sunflowers surrounded by some of the most beautiful coastal scenery, the Gower Christmas Tree Farm’s popular attraction is an incredible sight to behold. Visiting the sunflowers has now become an annual tradition for my family and me, and this print is inspired by one of the hundred photos I have taken there over the years.
The inspiration behind this print is a lot more meaningful than just wanting to create a beautiful image for your home. The sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine and has become a symbol of resistance against the current conflict in Ukraine. Like many people, when the war in Ukraine began, I started to think about what I could do to help with the Humanitarian appeal for those affected by the crisis. 100% of the profits from the digital download sales were donated to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, which is made up of 15 different charities that are doing amazing work to help those in need.
Digitally hand-drawn and printed onto 225gsm 100% cotton fine art paper, the matte finish and velvet texture gives the prints an elegant fine art feel. Archival, acid-free paper with premium inks have been carefully chosen to help preserve the print quality.
All prints have a 5mm border to make choosing a frame mount easier and less of the design will be hidden. Please note that all prints are sold unframed; any images showing the prints framed are for display suggestions only. Colours may vary depending on individual screen settings.
