Worms Head Rhossili Print

At the southern end of Rhossili bay lies the spectacular Worm's Head, a 1-mile long headland made of three islands and tidal pools.

Only reachable at low tide, no visit to the Gower is complete without a visit to Worm's Head. Its name is derived from an Old English word for 'dragon', as this is what the headland looked like to invading Norsemen as they arrived at the most westerly point of the Gower Peninsula.
